Midwest Analytics and Disease Modeling Center

Several MSI PIs are part of the new Midwest Analytics and Disease Modeling Center (MADMC), which is intended to build on the lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic to better prepare for future public-health emergencies. A center in the School of Public Health, MADMC is a partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Electronic Health Records Consortium, and is part of the national Insight network funded by the Centers for Disease Control. Researchers at the center are developing modeling and analytic tools to support decision-making in a future crisis.
