MSI PI Noyes Receives Grant to Fight Antimicrobial Resistance
MSI PI Noelle Noyes (associate professor, Veterinary Population Medicine) has received a $3.6 million grant from the National Institutes of Health Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. The grant, which runs over five years, funds development of a tool to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR). A story about the grant and Professor Noyes’s research appears on the College of Veterinary Medicine website: Leading the resistance – against antimicrobial resistance.
Professor Noyes uses MSI metagenomics resources for several projects related to understanding and fighting antimicrobial resistance.
