Natural Killer Cells Enlisted for Fighting Brain Cancer
MSI PI Jeffrey Miller (professor, Medicine; deputy director, Masonic Cancer Center; M Health Fairview) is featured in the Fall 2024 issue of Discovery magazine, a publication of the University of Minnesota Foundation. Professor Miller is a specialist in the use of natural killer cells to fight cancer. His current research is looking into expanding the use of this treatment from leukemia to other forms of cancer, including one of the most deadly brain cancers, glioblastoma.
