Transcriptomics Badge

Transcriptomics Badge

The Transcriptomics Badge is evidence that you have learned to perform analysis of bulk RNA-Seq data with the HPC resources at the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute. The two part series includes the RNA-Seq analysis tutorial and the Pathway Analysis tutorial.

The Minnesota Supercomputing Institute provides advanced research computing infrastructure to the UMN’s research and scholarly community with the goal to advance research, accelerate progress, and promote innovation and discoveries through cutting-edge technologies, scientific computing, informatics and application development.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Connect to remote cyberinfrastructure resources
  • Schedule compute jobs on shared resources
  • Get started with a command line interface (CLI)
  • Run the Bulk RNA-Seq Analysis command line pipeline that is developed and maintained by MSI staff
  • Run the pathway analysis command line script for downstream analysis of RNA-Seq pipeline output
