Software package permission troubleshooting
Software packages installed on MSI machines must adhere to licensing restrictions set forth by software vendors. Due restrictions on some packages (e.g., Comsol, Gaussian, and Ansys), MSI users must contact [email protected] and request their user accounts be included in designated group(s) with permission to load and launch the software. In some instances (e.g., Ingenuity Pathway Analysis and Genedata Expressionist), MSI users require software-specific passwords. To obtain access to these or other restricted packages, please email the MSI Help Desk ([email protected]) and include your MSI username and the software title in your request.
