Professor Georgios Giannakis

This group’s research interests span the areas of communications, networking, and statistical signal processing. Current research focuses on large-scale machine learning, sparsity in signals and systems, wireless cognitive radios, mobile ad hoc networks, wireless sensors, renewable energy, power grids, and gene-regulatory, brain, and social networks. Supercomputing resources are required for the numerical tests involved to corroborate the proposed algorithms in these research areas.
