Pull down the Volume Menu and select Manage Attachments

 

Choose an instance to attach to

The Device Name is auto-populated, but you can specify an override

 

The volume is attached!

Remember where it is attached to inside the VM (/dev/vdb)

Now you need to format and mount the volume
