What are volumes?

Volumes are created from Block Storage and you control the Volume Size. They can be formatted as POSIX Filesystems. They can migrate between VMs and persist when VMs are stopped, as well as allow for Snapshots.

Volume Quotas

  • All volumes count against the Volume Storage quota
  • Snapshots are also included
