What ports can applications/services use?

To help protect users:

  1. Stratus only allows direct access to VM Ports 443 and 8443*.
  2. Any service/application running on these ports must have SSL enabled.

All other ports are accessible from stratus-bastion.msi.umn.edu.

(*) Security Groups do not open 443 or 8443 by default--follow the guide for Port 22 to open these ports
