Where can I use dbGaP data?

You can run analysis on dbGaP data at MSI, but you must have an active Data Access Plan with the NIH and request a special project (help@msi.umn.edu). 

NCBI's webpage has information about how to request access to dbGaP data. 

dbGaP was previously stored in /panfs/single_copy. The data now goes onto Stratus (s3cache and s3secure) or as a special project on tier 1.
